What is E911?

E911, or Enhanced 911, is a technology developed for use in mobile phones, business phone systems, and digital phone providers. This technology routes emergency calls to your nearest emergency authorities. It will also provide your geographical location based on your service address on file, or cellular tower for mobile phones.

E911 is now included in all our Home and Business plans at no cost.

Your E911 address is based on the address on-file at signup. If you wish to change your E911 address, please login to your account online and submit an E911 Update Ticket.

By using our service, you understand and accept the terms and conditions of our services, including those of placing emergency calls. For more information about emergency calling, please contact our Help Team.

If you wish to disable E911, and you make an emergency call, you may be fined up to $90 per call. If your phone makes erronous calls to 911, you may also be fined.

Customers using WiFi Phone service may not be able to make emergency calls. Emergency call handeling may vary by device.

Emergency calls made on the Simple Phone Co. network are connected to your nearest emergency authorities, based on your on-file address or where otherwise indicated.
